Proglanil contains Saw Palmetto, which is a small Palm Tree, which has an extensive history as being used by Native Americans as an herbal stimulant and energy enhancer. More recently it has been used by some practitioners of alternative medicine as an effective treatment for prostate problems, including an enlarged prostate. 

Stinging nettles has traditionally been used as a diuretic, a treatment for coughs, as a “tonifer” and a method to augment prostate health. Uva-ursi has some anti-microbial affects and is also mild diuretic, which, has been used to aid in the treatment of cystitis. 
 

Proglanil contains: Zinc, Saw Palmetto, Buchu, Nettle, Uva-ursi and Corn silk. 

Obviously the herbs used in this formula have some value in terms of being able to impact prostate and urinary tract health; although clearly this is not a formula that is able to augment male sexual performance in any way, because it does not utilize any holistically based male sexuality boosting agents.
